ACCOUNT SETTINGS:
Is Ztimeline free?
Yes! Ztimeline is free for anyone who wishes to post pictures in an orderly manner. However, in the future, Ztimeline may charge its members a fee for printing their photos.
I can't create an account.
If you are unable to create an account, please send us an e-mail at support@ztimeline.com and we will gladly assist you with whatever error you may have encountered.
I can't login to my account.
Don't worry! If you can't login, we recommend you check that you are using the correct username and password. Also, keep in mind that our login information is case sensitive, so make sure that you remember if you used lower or upper case letters. However, if you are still unable to login, please send us an e-mail at support@ztimeline.com and we will help you resolve it as soon as possible (Always remember to put the reason why you are contacting us in the body of the e-mail).
I forgot my username.
Relax! Your username is your e-mail address, the one you used to create the account.

I forgot my password.
No problem! You can retrieve it by going to the homepage and clicking where it says Forgot your password. There, it will ask you to enter your account's e-mail address. Then, we will send you an e-mail with a temporary password. After login in, ALWAYS remember to change this temporary password!
How do I change my personal information?
In order to change your personal information, you must click on My Account at the top of the page. Under My Account, you will see a list on the upper left hand portion of the page, next to your profile picture. By clicking on the second tab which reads Edit My Profile, a new page will come up, allowing you to edit/change your basic information, personal information, as well as your interests.
I am not getting e-mails from Ztimeline. What's wrong?
First, should you be receiving e-mails? Remember that you have the option on the Settings tab of choosing whether you want e-mails to be sent to you or not. Check the Settings tab since Ztimeline will only send you e-mails for those options which you have approved of.
However, if your settings indicate that you should be receiving e-mails and you are not, check with your e-mail provider to see if they are being filtered in your Junk Mail. If you are still unable to solve this issue, feel free to contact us by writing to us at support@ztimeline.com (Make sure to put the reason why you are contacting us in the body of the e-mail).
Someone is harassing/threatening me on Ztimeline. What can I do?
Take action! If someone is harassing/threatening you, you can simply block them and thus prevent them from contacting you. However, if this doesn't help, please read our online safety tips to avoid further problems that may arise. If more help is needed, contact us at support@ztimeline.com and always make sure to put the reason why you are contacting us in the body of the e-mail.
How can I delete someone?
It's simple! Just go to My Account and click on the Settings tab on the upper right hand portion of the page. Then you will see that at the bottom of the lower left hand portion of the page, it will read Delete a friend. You must click Add/Delete a friend and it will do as indicated. Deleted friends/members will be unable to leave you a comment or communicate with you.
Keep in mind that those friends/members which you delete will still be able to see your profile depending on whether your Ztimeline Privacy and your Profile Privacy under the Settings page is available to everyone, just available to your friends, or just available for yourself.
How do I set my profile to private?

Then you will see that on the left side of the page, a list of settings appears: Comment Settings, Privacy Settings, as well as Profile Privacy. Under these settings, make sure to check the options you approve of.

PHOTOS:
How do I upload photos to my timeline?
Relax, we've made it as easy as it can get! First, you must go to the My Ztimeline tab. Once you are on your Ztimeline page, you must click on Add new event, which appears on the top right hand corner of the page. Then, it will take you to another page which will ask you to put the name, the date, the description, and privacy of the event you are creating. Once you click next, you must click on Upload Photos (Note: If you do not have ActiveX installed on your computer, you must first install it, otherwise you will not be able to upload your photos. You can install it from our webpage by simply clicking on the tab which will appear below your browser's search bar which will say Install ActiveX now.
As soon as you have ActiveX installed, a list of your computer's files will appear. You will need to click on the folder of the photos you want to upload. You have the option of clicking on the white box that appears on the left of each picture to add one by one, or simply click on select all. Then, as soon as you have chosen the pictures, you have to click the upload button in order for the photos to be uploaded to your event.
I'm trying to upload photos but I am getting an error message. What is wrong?
First, make sure you have ActiveX installed in your computer; otherwise, you will not be able to upload your photos. You can simply install ActiveX from our webpage by creating your event's information and clicking on the tab which will appear below your browser's search bar which will say Install ActiveX now.
However, if you do have ActiveX installed and are still having problems, relax! Just wait a few minutes and try again. Also, make sure that you are uploading a jpg., jpeg., gif., png., jpeg., jpe., jfif., tif., tiff., or bmp. file, or if not, you will have problems. Nevertheless, if you are still unable to upload photos, please send us an e-mail at support@ztimeline.com and we will help you resolve it as soon as possible (Always remember to put the reason why you are contacting us in the body of the e-mail).
Who can view my Ztimeline photos?
Anyone you want, starting from your Ztimeline friends to relatives who are not even members of Ztimeline! Remember- You choose who is or is not allowed to view your pictures. Under My Ztimeline, you will notice there is a tab on the upper right hand portion of the page that says Add New Event. When you create a new event, you will notice that next to the description of the event, there is a box which reads Event Privacy, thus allowing you to choose if you want that particular event to be available for everyone, available just for your Zfriends, or just available for yourself. Hence, others will be able to view your page, depending on what you choose for the event’s privacy.
Can I invite people who are not members of Ztimeline to view my photos?
Of course, although we are SURE they will join as soon as they see your timeline and its numerous benefits! Once you know what event you would like to share with others, simply click on Edit this Event and then on Send these event pictures. You will then be asked to list your friend's e-mail addresses separated by commas and an e-mail will be sent to them, inviting them to view your photos.

How many photos can I upload?
Ztimeline allows you to view your life chronologically since it allows you to organize your pictures in your own timeline! Hence, you can upload as many pictures as you want per day. However, we only let you upload up to 108 photos PER EVENT.
How much does it cost to upload photos?
We upload your photos for FREE, just like everything else on Ztimeline.
Can I print my Ztimeline photos?
Unfortunately, our printing service is not available on Ztimeline YET. However, in the near future, we will have this service for you so be sure to check our updates every now and then!
How can I view my friend's timeline?
You can view your friend's timeline ONLY if that person has accepted you as his/her Zfriend and has chosen to share her photos with others. Thus, if you have permission to the above stated, you can view your friend's timeline by simply clicking on the My Friends tab on the top of the page and further clicking on your friend's name.
How do I comment on a friend's photo?
Commenting on a friend's photo is ONLY available if that person has accepted you as his/her Zfriend and has also chosen to accept comments from friends. Thus, if you are accepted and have permission to comment on a friend's photo, simply click on the Post a comment link below the image. Once you write your comment, click on Add Comment and your comment will appear on your friend's comment once he/she has approved it. Keep in mind that this comment will be visible to anyone who views the picture.
FRIENDS:
How do I add a friend?
It is fast and easy! Just follow the following recommendations:
• If you want to invite someone already using Ztimeline to be your friend, simply go to their profile and click on Add me as a friend.
• If you want to search for someone that you are not sure if they have Ztimeline or not, just click on Ztimeline's Search tab, which will allow you to search using the person's full name, display name, or e-mail address.
• However, if they are not members of Ztimeline, you must click on the Invite tab under your account and enter your friend's e-mail address. Once they receive the e-mail, they will, with no doubt, join the Ztimeline team!
Once someone confirms that you are actually friends with them or know them, they will show up on your Friend's list.

Why is Ztimeline so special?
Ztimeline is special and different from other social networks and websites that allow you to upload photos in that it lets you organize your pictures in your OWN timeline. It lets you view your entire life in a 'chronological' way and helps you keep in touch with your friends and family all over the world. Well said, it's a chronological view of your life that no other, but Ztimeline, brings to you!
Not only does it organize your pictures in your timeline, but it also lets you share photos and events with your friends and loved ones. Even if others you know are not members of Ztimeline, they can still enjoy the benefits and stay connected to you! Eventually, however, everyone in your social network will be a part of Ztimeline and it will thus be easier for you to keep in touch with just a click away!
With what browsers can Ztimeline be viewed?
Ztimeline can be viewed with any of the following browsers: Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari. However, if you encounter an issue, please notify us at support@ztimeline.com and make sure to put the reason why you are contacting us in the body of the e-mail.
Will Ztimeline notify me when my friend's birthday is coming up?
Of course! On the My Account tab, you will see a Reminders tab which will direct you to all the upcoming birthdays. In addtion to this, you will receive an e-mail from Ztimeline letting you know that your friend's birthday is coming up in 5 days.

No! Your friends won't know if you are viewing their page 10 or 50 times a day, so don't worry!!! Gossip all you want…

How can I block someone?
To block a user, you will need to visit that user's profile and click Block User (found underneath 'Send Message'). However, keep in mind that blocked users can still view your profile, but they cannot send you a message or communicate with you since there is no way to prevent someone from seeing your profile.
